Hi, I’m Joselyn!

I’m a certified Birth with Spirit Doula and Ohio State Certified Doula, & Birth Photographer. I am also a student midwife and look forward to broadening my skills and knowledge with each birth! I am always growing, learning, and trying new things to better support the families I work with.

I was called to this work from my own experiences with my two daughters. I wasn’t fully educated with my first birth, and struggled with my postpartum experiences, so I was inspired to bridge the gap between education, advocacy, and support for so many families who deserve better when welcoming their new family member. I strive to provide trauma-informed care, as I’ve lost three pregnancies myself, and hope to provide care to families experiencing such an earth-shattering loss.

Photography has always been a strong interest and passion of mine. Having a birth photographer not only with knowledge of birth and it’s process, but someone able and willing to understand how to hold space in a room, is vital to birth photography.
